PAUL GRANVILLE - Senior Partner
Paul Granville was born in Cornwall in 1960. After graduating from Reading University and completing his Law Society finals he served his articles at Carlyon & Son. Paul became an assistant solicitor at Carlyon & Son in 1984 and a Partner in 1987 before becoming senior Partner in 1996.
Paul’s special interests are Probate, Tax, Commercial Business Transactions, Personal Injury Litigation and Family and Divorce matters. For a number of years he served on the Law Society personal injury panel. He has also in the past acted as Assistant Deputy Coroner.
Paul is married to Julie and has two adult children. He has assisted various charitable organisations over the years. In such spare time as he has, he has been known to enjoy the occasional glass of red wine, socialising and swimming.

SAMANTHA THOMPSON - Conveyancing Executive
Samantha is a Paralegal Member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives. Samantha started working at Carlyon and Son as a receptionist in 2009 and has achieved her role as a full-time Fee Earner studying with CILEx, gaining 15 years of experience within the firm along the way.
Samantha deals with all aspects of Residential Conveyancing such as Sales, Purchases, Transfers of Equity and Re-mortgages. She also deals with Lasting Powers of Attorney.
In her spare time, Samantha enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her young son.
Samantha’s working hours are Monday, Tuesday and Friday, 9am-5pm.
